Levers are the factors or considerations that influence or affect a process that a company has the power to modify. By manipulating the levers, you can influence the up or down movement of metrics and therefore get closer or further away from achieving the goal.
Once again, levers are things that the company has control over, and these differ from Constraints - which are things that a company does NOT have the power to modify (Hard Constraints), at least not without major consequences (Soft Constraints).

If you don’t have any levers, then you are not in control of a process and you are just observing it. Think carefully about the way you can affect the outcome of a process. Not all levers are immediately obvious.
