Use Case Card

Use Cases and Pre-defined Templates

Updated over a year ago

The Use Case Card lets you browse and choose a pre-defined template to act as the basis for your Challenge Definition, or alternatively build your own Challenge Definition without a template.

Check out this video for more information on how to choose a Use Case Template that's right for you.

Hint #1

Use Case Templates are built by subject matter experts and are a great starting point for defining your challenge. Since they are highly flexible, you can start with the closest match and edit it to be a closer fit to your specific definition - that is often easier than starting from scratch.

Hint #2

When defining a Challenge Definition for the first time, or when trying to translate normal business language into something that can be mathematically optimized, using one of our Use Case Templates as a starting point means you may learn and think of new ways to approach the problem. You're also able to easily add-on your own nuanced requirements (levers, constraints, etc.) if they aren't already included.
