Not to be confused with the Goal, the Desired Outputs are tangible physical end results of the Challenge. Desired Outputs are a manifest of the outputs required for a Challenge Definition solution. This can be as simple as a listing of the report documents the solution should generate, or as complex as ongoing lab reports, data feeds, or monetary streams. The Desired Outputs are what your team can actually go do, or do differently, to optimize your Challenge and achieve your goal.
Desired Outputs are ultimately the recommended actions to solve the challenge. Since levers are things that are controllable and actionable on by the user, outputs that are defined in terms of levers (see Levers) should also be included in the Desired Outputs section.
