How to Edit and Complete a Knowpar

Knowledge Paragraphs

Updated over a year ago

A knowpar (knowledge paragraph) consists of a series of fill-in-the-blank sentences grouped into paragraphs that will become an output of the Challenge Modeler.

To create a knowpar, enter the following values into the sentence / paragraph fields:

  • Fill in any blanks for existing sentences, if using a pre-filled Use Case Template

  • Edit any text in any sentence, including removing fill-in-the-blanks or dropdowns

  • Add exception text next to any row in the document ("Please enter any extra text here...")

  • Insert new rows by clicking the "Add new row" button

  • Reorder your Sentence / Heading rows by dragging them up or down via the three dots on the left side of the page (note that you cannot be in the process of adding any sentences or paragraphs to be able to reorder items in the card)

  • Insert new paragraph Heading row by clicking "Add new row", selecting "Heading" as the row type, and making sure that the "Display in report" checkbox is checked

  • Insert paragraph breaks into the document by following the instructions in the previous bullet, except make sure that the "Display in report" checkbox is unchecked

  • Make comments on a specific row by clicking the conversation bubble icon on the right hand side of the row, or make comments on an entire card by clicking the conversation bubble icon in the top right corner of the card

  • Delete any sentences or paragraphs using the trash can icon on the right side of the page

See this video for an example of how you would complete a knowpar for the Scale Card.
